How to use incense: 


  • Light the incense stick and let the flame burn for around 10 seconds. You will see a glowing ember on the tip of your incense stick.
  • Gently blow out the ember, you should be able to smell the incense and see the trail of smoke. 
  • Place the incense stick into a holder or burner, making sure that the holder you are using is catching the ashes as they fall. Be careful not to let the ashes fall onto flammable materials such as carpet or bed linen. 
  • Most incense sticks will burn for around 20 to 30 minutes, this just depends on the size and thickness of the stick.
